Since March 21, 1971, on this date every year we celebrate the World Day of Forests. The day is important to highlight the importance of forests to life on Earth and to call on everyone to conserve them. The goal is that all forests on the planet, with their diverse animal and plant life, are effectively managed and protected.

Forests are our natural wealth and source of life! Each one of us is responsible for the preservation of this natural wealth, as well as for its development and rational use for the sake of the well-being of mankind. The health of the “lungs of the planet” depends on each of us, because almost all of us use the gifts of the forest to one degree or another.

Happy Forest Day!
