The Regional Directorate of Forests – Sliven has launched a consultation procedure on the prepared Environmental Assessment (EA) Report for the draft Regional Forest Development Plan (RFDP) of Sliven Province.
The deadline for conducting consultations and submitting opinions on the EA and RFDP is 5:30 PM on March 13, 2025.
The RFDP project is subject to a mandatory public discussion in accordance with Article 58, Paragraph 3 of Ordinance No. 18 of October 7, 2015, on forest inventory and planning. The public discussions will take place on March 25-26, 2025, in the municipalities of Sliven, Tvarditsa, Nova Zagora, and Kotel, following a schedule that will be announced in due course.
