On May 29, 2025, a field visit was conducted to examine shelterbelts with varying degrees of degradation in the territories of the State Forestry Enterprise (DGS) Dobrich and the State Hunting Enterprise (DLS) Balchik. During the visit, information was presented regarding the management of the sites, current challenges, and opportunities for future sustainable management were discussed.

The event took place within the framework of the National Conference “Challenges to the Restoration and Sustainable Management of Shelterbelts under Climate Change Conditions”, held as part of the project  “LIFE for Eagle’s Habitats” LIFE18 NAT/BG/001051, funded by the EU LIFE Programme, May 28–29, 2025, DGS Dobrich.
