On the territory of the State Forestry Enterprise Yakoruda, an inspection was carried out to ensure compliance with hunting, forestry, and environmental laws. Representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Regional Forestry Directorate Blagoevgrad, Rila National Park, and the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) surveyed the Mandzhukova River, Brabrite, Guvnitsa, and Nekhtenitsa areas. No violations or other unauthorized activities were detected in the forested areas.

This joint inspection was carried out as part of Action C6 of the LIFE Project “LIFE for Eagle’s habitats”, aimed at protecting the Lesser Spotted Eagle and its habitats in Bulgaria. The inspection highlighted the strong cooperation between regulatory authorities and NGOs in efforts to preserve biodiversity and enforce current legislation.
